Professor Molly Van Houweling has won Berkeley Law’s Rutter Award for Teaching Distinction for inspiring students and exhibiting a deep commitment to teaching. A top intellectual property scholar and the school’s associate dean for J.D. curriculum and teaching, she also won a new UC Berkeley award last year for deftly leading the law school’s shift to online instruction at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
