Our New Business Community Law Clinic got a $290,000 grant from Wells Fargo to expand its free legal assistance to small area businesses. The clinic, which helps over 300 such businesses a year (most owned by people of color and women), will offer more consultations and legal webinars in English and Spanish on issues such as COVID-related risks, California’s difficult contractor laws, and e-commerce models.
