Berkeley Law lecturer Henry Hecht (pictured) and star litigator Elizabeth Cabraser ’78 received Champions of Justice awards at the recent Equal Justice Society annual gala, which also served as a retirement party for EJS founding president and civil rights icon Eva Paterson ’75. Hecht and Cabraser were hailed for their wide-ranging efforts in support of fellowships, implicit bias conferences, and other projects that boost social justice.
