Hannah Flanery ’19 and Pedro Viramontes ’18, lawyers at the East Bay Community Law Center’s Housing Practice, helped a Berkeley tenant win a recent unanimous verdict in an eviction action brought by his landlord in Alameda County Superior Court. Representing the tenant through a year of litigation and a three-week jury trial, they were helped by many students in all areas of the trial preparation and presentation.
