A major victory for student loan borrowers was recently achieved with the help of our Berkeley Center for Consumer Law & Economic Justice, when a federal court rejected a challenge to two government programs benefiting students who have long had their loans mismanaged. The center and the Student Borrower Protection Center filed an amicus brief showing why the plaintiffs lacked legal standing to challenge these programs.
