Alumna Clothilde Hewlett ’79 has been named commissioner at the California Department of Financial Protection and Innovation, which protects consumers and services to businesses engaged in financial transactions. The Cal Alumni Association’s chief legal officer and executive director, she also was a partner at two law firms and undersecretary of the California State and Consumer Services Agency.
