Getting Started for Local Governments

Local government leaders can use this Framework to begin the process of developing an Equitable EV Action Plan, tailored to their community’s current and future needs. Start by identifying which agencies, departments, and staff are relevant to the Action Plan process. Those parties can then determine which categories of action are locally relevant and the degree to which each is a local priority. After these core areas are identified, local agencies should initiate appropriate needs assessments and community engagement efforts to confirm and refine that prioritization. For additional guidance and suggestions, please see Part II of the Equitable EV Action Plan Framework.
