In this writing workshop students will prepare 30+ page papers commenting on important law and technology developments for potential inclusion in the Berkeley Technology Law Journal’s Annual Review of Law & Technology. Topics may include developments in the law of intellectual property (copyright, patent, trademark, etc.), privacy, telecommunications, etc. Accepted papers will be finalized for publication in Spring 2026.
Admission will be based on an application process. Application materials, including deadline information and submission instructions, will be posted in the “supplemental files” section of the course description page. Applications are due by April 11th. Students will be told admissions decisions by April 21st. For LLMs and transfer JDs, applications are due July 31st, with a response by August 11.
