It presents the basic concepts that every lawyer should know about the international dimensions of law in the modern world and offers a rigorous foundation for advanced courses in this field. We will then address specific areas that are regulated by international law, including international human rights, international environmental law, and international economic law.

The course has no prerequisites, and no prior knowledge will be assumed. That said, those who already have a background in international law are encouraged to take the course.
