Ted W. Pelletier has practiced civil appeals and motion work in California for over 25 years. He is the principal of his own office, the Law Office of Ted W. Pelletier, working with trial attorneys on appellate matters and trial-court motion work. Mr. Pelletier has handled many dozens of appeals in the California appellate courts, including successful results in several cases before the California Supreme Court. He is a multi-year recipient of honors from Super Lawyers (top rated attorney), Best Lawyers in America (product liability), and the National Trial Lawyers (top 100 plaintiffs’ attorney and top 25 product-liability attorney in California).
Mr. Pelletier helps to run the Berkeley Law Appellate Competition Program, coaching several teams annually and mentoring the competition students. In the fall, he teaches a six-week crash course on the competitions (Appellate Competition Intensive).
Mr. Pelletier is a 1994 graduate of the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco (formerly Hastings College of the Law) and received a B.A. in Law and Society in 1989 from the University of California at Santa Barbara. He lives in San Anselmo with his wife of almost 30 years Mia.
