Robin Allan joined the faculty of the First Year Skills program in 2015. She received her J.D., cum laude, Order of the Coif, from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where she was an Executive Editor of the University of Pennsylvania Law Review.
Allan clerked for the Hon. Mary A. McLaughlin of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the Hon. Marjorie O. Rendell of the Third Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Hon. Elizabeth D. Laporte, Chief Magistrate Judge of the Northern District of California. She practiced white collar criminal defense and complex civil litigation at Cooley, LLP, in San Francisco. Before coming to Berkeley Law, Allan taught Advanced Legal Writing at Stanford Law School.
