Patrick Hammon is a Partner at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman, where he specializes in high-stakes commercial litigation, including employment, trade secret, and other types of business disputes.
Patrick is an active and passionate member of the legal community. In addition to teaching at UC Berkeley, he also has taught at Lincoln Law School in San Jose. He currently serves as one of the Lawyer Representatives for the Northern District, and has recently completed his term, and continues to serve as a “pro tem” commissioner, on California’s Judicial Nominees Evaluation commission. He has also served as an officer on the Santa Clara County Bar Association and helped found, and then coached, a local mock trial team
Patrick graduated from UCLA Law School in 2007. Prior to law school, he attended UC Berkeley where he studied Political Science. He was born and raised in San Jose, California, where he currently lives with his wife and son, and near his three brothers, who are all lawyers and Berkeley grads as well.
