Adam Sechooler is an experienced litigator and a lecturer at Berkeley Law. Mr. Sechooler’s practice includes representing businesses and individuals in a diverse range of high-stakes and high-profile matters in state and federal court. Mr. Sechooler has experience in all areas of litigation, including drafting dispositive motions and appellate briefs, developing case strategy, deposing senior executives and expert witnesses, arguing motions in court, and trial preparation.
Mr. Sechooler was a member of the second graduating class at the University of California, Irvine School of Law, where he was a Lead Articles Editor for the UC Irvine Law Review. Before law school, Mr. Sechooler was a graduate student in sociology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. At the University of Wisconsin, Mr. Sechooler taught courses in research methodology and conducted an in-depth, qualitative study of relationships between small businesses and community business banks.
In addition to teaching at Berkeley, Mr. Sechooler has taught trade secrets law at the University of California, Irvine School of Law. He has published numerous articles in legal publications and scholarly journals.
Mr. Sechooler clerked for the Honorable John W. Holcomb in the Central District of California.
