Students who compete at other law schools through the Advocacy Competitions Program make a commitment for one academic year as members of the Board of Advocates (BOA).
BOA is a co-curricular organization managed by elected student leaders and the Advocacy Competitions Program. Competition team members bring a variety of advocacy styles, life and work experiences to the table – no prior experience is required! All participants must successfully complete a tryout process. To learn more from current members, contact the BOA Chairs at boardofadvocates@law.berkeley.edu.
