Thursday, August 1, 2024 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am
Event Navigation
In striking down Chevron, the Supreme Court has now cut back sharply on the power of federal agencies to interpret the laws they administer — including the SEC. What tools and mechanisms will the SEC use to regulate public markets? Does trimming the power of the SEC mean shareholders will take matters into their own hands for corporate accountability? What are companies doing to prepare for an ambiguous regulatory environment? Hear from multiple perspectives on how the Chevron ruling will impact companies, shareholders and the SEC. CLE credit will be provided for those who attend.
