[SALSA] Exploring Immigration Options Beyond the H-1B Visa

Wednesday, January 22, 2025 @ 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Work Visa Options Post-Graduation Beyond H-1B for F1 Students

The info session will be split into two parts. The first 30 minutes the speakers will cover the recent immigration changes, visa backlogs for Indian born students as well as alternative immigration pathways beyond OPT and H-1B (for international students of all nationalities). As you may know, the H-1B visa operates through a lottery system and there are no guarantees. Furthermore, for Indian-born nationals, obtaining a green card via the H-1B route can take over 20 years. This information session will explore alternatives, such as the EB-5 visa.

The second part of the info session will be a Q&A. Students will be able to ask questions to speakers.

The speakers are both attorneys and highly respected in immigration field.

Vivek Tandon is both a U.S.-licensed lawyer and an investment banker. He serves as the CEO of EB5 BRICS, an immigration consulting firm. With over 10 years of experience in the immigration industry, he specializes in EB-5, E-2, EB-2, and L-1 visas. Vivek has also been recognized as one of the leading professionals in the EB-5 industry.

Mitch Wexler is a U.S.-licensed attorney and Senior Counsel at Fragomen, one of the leading immigration law firms in the United States. With over 40 years of experience in immigration law, Mitch specializes in a wide range of visas and represents clients from diverse nationalities. He has also been recognized as one of the top EB-5 lawyers in the country.
