Building a Stronger Queer Community in Big Law

Perkins Coie invites Berkeley’s Queer Caucus to enjoy a night of conversation and networking with members of Equality California and SF LGBT Center, as well as Perkins Coie LGBTQ+ lawyers and leaders. Guests will share how their engagement within the legal realm, including pro bono work, has advanced and enhanced the lives of those within the LGBTQ+ community. A brief panel begins at 6:00 p.m. and concludes at 8:00 p.m. Following the main event, we invite all attendees to join us for further discussions and professional connections.

This event is open to all Berkeley Law students.

Note from Queer Caucus: 

Queer Caucus will be hosting a networking event with both Defense- and Plaintiff-side law firms on Jan. 10. The event will be at Freehouse (across the street from the law school) starting at 6pm. There will be ample free food and an open bar courtesy of our sponsors. Come by for dinner!

This is a great way to meet queer attorneys working in the private sector. These connections are useful for anyone applying to 1L Summer Associate positions, or to anyone considering working at a law firm in their 2L summer.
