Purdue Pharma Goes to (Bankruptcy) Court: The Future of Mass Torts from Asbestos to the Opioid Crisis

Please join the American Constitution Society for a lunchtime discussion focused on the advantages and disadvantages of using bankruptcy to resolve mass-tort cases, with a focus on the Purdue Pharma case before the Supreme Court this term. The discussion will be moderated by Professor Andrew Bradt and will feature The Honorable William Lafferty, a Bankruptcy Judge in the Northern District of California and Professor Kenneth Ayotte. Students will have the opportunity to ask the panelists questions. Lunch will be provided. Please RSVP here by Thursday, 11/30.
