Event Navigation
The Public Interest and Social Justice Orientation is for all students! This is a kickoff event about the role of law students in promoting social justice and the public interest. If you came to Berkeley Law to participate in public interest, pro bono, and/or social justice work and want to know more about the many different ways you can do that during your time here, join us!
You will have the opportunity to connect with your public interest classmates and meet the different public interest offices at the law school. Lunch will be provided.
This event is hosted by PIWG (the Public Interest Working Group), consisting of staff members from the Henderson Center for Social Justice, the Pro Bono Program, the Clinical Program, the East Bay Community Law Center, the Career Development Office, the Field Placement Program, the Advanced Degree Program, and the LRAP Program.
Events are wheelchair accessible. For disability-related accommodations, contact the organizer of the event. Advance notice is kindly requested.
If you have any photos or video from your event that you’d like to share with Berkeley Law for possible use in our digital and print marketing, please email communications@law.berkeley.edu.
