Law Students for Justice in Palestine and the Journal for Middle Eastern and Islamic Law are excited to announce “On Palestine: A Conversation with Professor Noura Erakat,” moderated by Dr. Ussama Makdisi. Noura Erakat is a professor, human rights attorney, legal scholar and activist, as well as a Berkeley Law alumni. Her work centers around Palestine and the ongoing Israeli occupation. She has been published by The New York Times, Al Jazeera and The Washington Post and more. She is also the author of the award-winning book Justice for Some: Law and the Question of Palestine. Please come join us as we discuss the ongoing Israeli led genocide in Gaza, the silencing of Palestinian and Pro-Palestinian activists in the U.S., the International Court of Justice case against Israel, and more.
