Event Navigation

In the face of major setbacks on criminal legal system reform in California and the Bay Area, local organizers are finding ways to fight back.
This panel will feature Bay Area organizers, policy advocates, and lawyers who are working together to shrink the criminal punishment system and build real alternatives that keep communities safe and thriving. Learn about how we got here, strategies for fighting back, and how lawyers can use their skills to help advance an abolitionist policy agenda.
Panelists from Communities United for Restorative Youth Justice, Urban Peace Movement, and the Maven Collaborative.
Sponsored by the Policy Advocacy Clinic at Berkeley Law. Lunch Provided.
