Law & Social Justice Lunch Talk Series: Michael Coyle

Thursday, March 7, 2024 @ 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm

You are invited to lunch with a new author almost every Thursday afternoon this March at 2240 Piedmont Avenue. Lunch is served at 12:30 in the Philip Selznick Seminar Room.

On Thursday, March 7th, the Law and Society Graduate Association welcomes the editor of The Routledge International Handbook of Penal Abolition, Michael Coyle Ph.D. The goal of the event is to support J.D. and Ph.D. students in their legal studies which may include working in a journal, conducting research, or teaching. Attendees will leave with a better understanding of how they can incorporate penal abolition into their regular work in a manner that adds value to legal scholarship, teaching, or practice.

Please enjoy a healthy meal and conversation about law, politics, art, and philosophy!
