The Miller Institute for Global Challenges and the Law is honored to host the world’s top authorities on the European Union’s digital markets and competition regulation. In her trailblazing role as Executive Vice President of the European Commission for A Europe Fit for the Digital Age since 2019 and European Commissioner for Competition since 2014, EVP Margrethe Vestager is the EU’s top antitrust enforcer, taking on major tech companies such as Apple, Google and Meta. She is also the 2022 Riesenfeld Awardee. Distinguished scholar on the EU’s regulatory power, digital regulation, the global economy, and international antitrust law, Professor Anu Bradford (Columbia) is the author of “The Brussels Effect” (2020) and “Digital Empires: The Global Battle to Regulate Technology” (2023).
