Goal
The goal of the focus group is to gather input from JD students about engagement models and topic areas of interest for a new clinic offering: the Global Rights Innovation Lab (GRIL) Clinic at UC Berkeley School of Law.
What to Expect
The focus group will be facilitated for JD law students interested in human rights, social justice, data analysis, and technology. The discussion will last approximately 60 minutes and participants will be asked about their thoughts on clinical experiences in the legal field. The focus group will be recorded. The information will be used to inform GRIL’s 3 year business plan and potentially other publications. Participants will not be identified by name in any publication and we will anonymize any reference to individuals but may use anonymized quotes in publications from the study.
Who?
We’d like to talk with JD law students interested in human rights and social justice. Participants must be graduate students aged 18 and over who are actively involved, studying or interested in fields related to human rights, technology, or their intersection.
