Join the Environmental Law Clinic for an event on engaging in meaningful climate and environmental justice advocacy at UC Berkeley and beyond.
The event will feature current Berkeley Law student Ami Shirriff, and recent UC Berkeley graduate Mackenzie Feldman. Ami is a 3L who has engaged in climate advocacy and environmental justice work as a participant in BLAST Hawaii, co-leader for BLAST Alaska, and co-leader of the Food Justice Project. Mackenzie is a recent Berkeley alum and Founder of Re: wild Your Campus a nonprofit organization she started as a Berkeley undergraduate with the mission of eliminating herbicides from our campus. Under Mackenzie’s leadership, Re: wild Your Campus has since become a national nonprofit project that is greening campus across the U.S., and making them both nontoxic and climate resilient spaces.
Come join ELC as we participate in a “Global Day of Action” by environmental law clinics worldwide, and be inspired!
Events are wheelchair accessible. For disability-related accommodations, contact the organizer of the event. Advance notice is kindly requested.
