[CDO] What Is a Judicial Clerkship (and Is It for Me)?

This program will cover the basics of post-graduate judicial clerkships and why students should consider these opportunities, which are launchpads to all kinds of legal careers. 2Ls who are thinking about applying to clerkships in the next year are especially encouraged to attend.  Confirmed panelists are:

  • Anya Ku ’20 – Attorney, Neighborhood Law Corps, Oakland City Attorney’s Office; former clerk to Judge Nathanael Cousins (N.D. Cal.); former Supreme Court Fellow
  • Elissa Walter ’18 – Climate Change Research Fellow, CLEE; former clerk to Judge Jon Tigar (N.D. Cal.), Justice Goodwin Liu (CA Supreme), and Judge David Tatel (D.C. Cir.)
  • Greg Washington ’17 – Associate, Jenner & Block; former clerk to Judge Victor Bolden (D. Conn.) and Judge Adalberto Jordan (11th Cir.)

Lunch will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Please RSVP here so we have an accurate headcount.
