[CDO] The Inside Scoop on Clerkships from Justice Jennifer Henderson (AK Supreme)

Join Justice Jennifer Henderson of the Alaska Supreme Court for a discussion on making your best impression in clerkship application materials and interviews, lessons learned from clerking for state and federal appellate judges, and unique opportunities available in the Alaska state courts.  All students are welcome, and the program will be especially helpful for 2Ls currently preparing to apply to clerkships and/or interested in state appellate courts.

Justice Jennifer Henderson has served as an Associate Justice of the Alaska Supreme Court since 2021. She was previously a judge of the Anchorage Superior Court from 2017 to 2021 and of the Alaska District Court from 2012 to 2017. Justice Henderson graduated from Claremont McKenna College and Yale Law School. She started her legal career as a law clerk for Justice Warren Matthews of the Alaska Supreme Court and Judge Kim McLane Wardlaw of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. From 2003 to 2007, she served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Anchorage District Attorney’s Office. She served as an associate of the law offices of Farley & Graves in Anchorage from 2007 to 2012.
