The Berkeley Energy and Resources Collaborative (BERC) will host the 18th annual Energy Summit on February 20 and 21, 2025 on the UC Berkeley campus. The Summit’s theme is SCALING OUR ENERGY FUTURE: COALITIONS FOR INVESTMENT & INNOVATION. The Summit has a tremendous lineup of speakers including Cody Two Bears (Indigenized Energy), Sherwin Das (Energy Peace Partners), Jason Mark (U.S. Energy Foundation), Carla Peterman (PG&E), Scott Jacobs (Generate Capital), Kate Gordon (California Forward), and more.
Day 1 of the 2025 Energy Summit will feature a climate career fair, workshops (including lessons on Energy Project Finance by Orrick LLP and PPA Basics by Avangrid), and keynote speakers. Day 2 will bring a wide range of stakeholders for panels, fireside chats, keynote speeches, and networking sessions to explore how we can scale a resilient energy future through cutting-edge innovation and thoughtful coalition-building. Day 2 will also feature our inaugural clean energy case competition. Both days include coffee/tea in the morning and lunch in the afternoon. Day 2 will close with a happy hour reception.
