Abortion Doula Dispatch: Histories and Futures of Reproductive Justice in North Carolina (Speaker presenting by zoom)

Presenting by zoom, Ash Williams, a reproductive justice organizer and abortion doula, will discuss the current status of abortion in North Carolina, and the scope of what abortion doulas do. Williams’ current work includes efforts to support people who are having abortions, as well as efforts to transfer trans folks to facilities in alignment with their gender identities, and to advocate for transgender incarcerated people who need access to post release support and other basic human and health care needs.
These events are open only to UC Berkeley Law students, faculty, and staff, unless otherwise noted.
