24th Annual Intellectual Property Scholars Conference

The Berkeley Center for Law & Technology is pleased to host the 24th Annual Intellectual Property Scholars Conference (IPSC) on August 8-9, 2024 at the Residence Inn in Berkeley, CA.
The IPSC brings together intellectual property scholars to present their works-in-progress in order to benefit from the critique of colleagues. The conference is co-sponsored by the Berkeley Center for Law and Technology, UC Berkeley School of Law; the Center for Intellectual Property Law and Information Technology, DePaul University College of Law; the Stanford Program in Law, Science & Technology, Stanford Law School; and the Intellectual Property and Information Law Program, Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law at Yeshiva University.
The IPSC format is designed to facilitate free-ranging discussion and to help scholars hone their ideas. Papers presented are work-in-progress that can benefit from substantial commentary and revision.
Because of the importance of group discussion, attendees and presenters are asked to plan to stay for the entire conference.

Arrival
The Residence Inn is a short 2-min walk from the Downtown Berkeley BART Station. There are direct BART lines from both San Francisco International Airport (SFO) and Oakland International Airport (OAK) airports. Parking
Valet parking is available at the Residence Inn for $54 per day. Valet pricing: 0-3 Hours $20.00, 3-6 Hours $40.00, >6 hours $54.00. A key fob for the vehicle is required. Hotel Information
The conference will be held at the Residence Inn Hotel in Downtown Berkeley. We have reserved a room block for 3 nights from 08/07/2024 to 08/10/2024 (Sat. checkout) for $269 per night (not including taxes). The room block is now closed, but if are still seeking to book a stay separately visit this website.
