2023 Human Rights Fellowship Conference

Every year since 1994, the Human Rights Center has provided fellowships to University of California students for human rights fieldwork, research, and journalism in collaboration with a wide variety of organizations around the world. This year, our fellows spent their summers working in Kenya, the US, Bangladesh, Germany, Bolivia, and beyond on issues of reproductive rights, death penalty cases, climate justice, human trafficking, and much more. This year’s conference features a keynote speech from Berkeley law alum/former fellow Anthony Ghaly. Lunch will be served at the kickoff of the conference at 12:45, and a reception will follow.
