CALENDARS

There are two calendars to consider publishing your event on:

The Berkeley Law Events calendar is managed by the Communications Department. It is the main source of information about events at the school. Full details on posting your event to the Berkeley Law Calendar are here. Being listed on this calendar is essential if you would like your event included in the “This Week at Berkeley Law” email, which is emailed to Berkeley Law students, staff, and faculty.

The main UC Berkeley calendar is available for any member of the UC Berkeley campus community (student, staff, or faculty) to submit an event for listing in the UC Berkeley Calendar Network. Events must take place at UC Berkeley, or be sponsored by a department or recognized group at UC Berkeley.

If your event is eligible for MCLE credit, please submit your event/program to the MCLE calendar on the Berkeley Law Executive Education website.

POSTING POLICY

All materials posted must comply with campus regulations and should contain event date(s) and contact information for the group or individual posting the material. Please read the posting policy page for complete details on what may (or may not) be posted in which locations of the law school.

IDENTITY RESOURCES

Berkeley Law and UC Berkeley logos and branding materials can be downloaded from the Identity Resources page.

COMMUNICATIONS

The Berkeley Law Office of Communications can assist with helping to create and place press releases; develop event logos, brochures, and fliers; and better publicize events which serve the overall goals of the law school.

MEDIA RELEASES

If you plan on recording an event and will disseminate the content, make sure your presenters sign a consent and release form.

Here is a sample statement for a crowd release sign at your event:
