Jessie Sherwood has joined the Robbins Collection as the Associate Librarian, where she will oversee the complex copy cataloging of the Robbins Collections holdings. She will also update our online resources for manuscript research and contribute to research projects, exhibitions, and trainings. Previously, Jessie was the Manuscript Cataloger at the Robbins Collection, where she processed and cataloged a backlog of 400 manuscript codices, fragments, and documents.
Jessie holds a PhD in Medieval Studies from the University of Toronto and an MLIS from the University of Washington. Before joining the Robbins Collection, Jessie was a postdoctoral research with RELMIN (Legal Status of Religious Minorities in the Euro-Mediterranean World), an online database of medieval legal texts, where she worked extensively with medieval legal manuscripts.
