The Career Development Office makes all of our most important resources available to alumni online.
Password-Protected Web Pages
Some of our web content is protected by a general password, which you can obtain by emailing us a request.
A very small number of our webpages require Calnet authentication. If you graduated in 2009 or later, your Calnet ID and password should still be active. If you graduated before 2009, you will need to obtain login information via the @cal Alumni Network. (For more information, visit the @cal Network’s help page.)
Counseling Appointments
CDO counselors are available on a limited basis to meet with alumni by phone or in person to assist with career transitions during most of the year.
NOTE: During the months of June, July and August, our private sector team will be counseling current students preparing for our busy on-campus interview season and may not be available to respond to requests for appointments.
b-Line (Berkeley Law Careers Online)
You need your own unique username and password to access b-Line, Berkeley Law’s online jobs posting system.
First-time users, please email us a request for access. If you have used b-Line before but forgotten your password, you can request a new one from the login page.
b-Line offers a variety of online services, including creating an online profile, uploading your resume, searching the job database and reviewing employer profiles. Note, however, that on-campus interview programs are available only to current students.
One valuable feature of b-Line, if you are job-hunting with limited time available, is that you can set up searches of the job postings to run automatically at selected intervals and have opportunities that meet your criteria emailed to you.
