WHEN AND WHERE:
Saturday, February 7, 2009
9:00 a.m. – 5:15 p.m.
University of California Hastings College of the Law
This event is sponsored by the eight Northern California Law Schools and administered by a San Francisco non-profit organization known as the Public Interest Clearinghouse (“PIC”). PI/PS Day has a “Table Talk” component and a formal interviewing component.
On December 15, 2008, an important email was sent out from pic.org to all Berkeley Law students with detailed event information, including important instructions, as well as passwords and IDs, for the online application process. If you did not receive the December 15th email, please contact Linda Maranzana (lmaranzana@law.berkeley.edu) right away for assistance.
Students who want to interview with employers participating in PI/PS Day will be required to submit their requests, resumes, cover letters, and other required materials (e.g. references and writing samples) online to the Clearinghouse by NOON on January 16, 2009. We expect that the PIPS Day online registration system will be particularly slow on the morning of January 16 and recommend that you submit your materials in advance of that date. Students that would like to participate in only the “Table Talk” component of the event are not required to submit any application materials online. More information about PIPS Day is available on the Public Interest Careers page of the CDO website.
