In a January 3, 2005, interview on PBS’s The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer, Professor John Yoo discusses plans under review by the Bush administration for the long-term detention of suspected terrorists. Yoo, who served from 2001 to 2003 as a deputy assistant attorney general in the Office of Legal Counsel at the U.S. Department of Justice, comments in an interview with correspondent Margaret Warner.
