Jeremy Travis comes to Boalt on Thursday, March 10, to give a lecture, “Prisoners Coming Home: The Challenges of Re-Entry and Reintegration.” The president of John Jay College of Criminal Justice at the City University of New York, Travis previously served four years as a senior fellow affiliated with the Justice Policy Center at the Urban Institute, a nonpartisan research and policy organization in Washington, D.C. There he launched a national research program focused on prisoner reentry into society and initiated research agendas on crime in a community context, sentencing and international crime.
This event will take place at 5:30 p.m. in the Goldberg Room and is free and open to the public.
