Q: When does registration close?

A: Friday, September 13, 2024

Q: How do I check in at the event?

A): Friday and Saturday: Please go to the registration tables located in the East Courtyard on Bancroft Way, just outside of Café Zeb. Enter next to the large stone Berkeley Law sign, and head to the registration tables to collect your name tag and program. Please allow time to check in and please bring your name tag to all weekend events. If you would like to get credit for our two CLE sessions on Saturday, please bring your bar ID number.

Golden Circle Brunch attendees: Please go directly to the Faculty Club. The Club is located in the heart of campus, alongside the south fork of Strawberry Creek and next to the Faculty Glade. Registration will open at 10:45 am, and the brunch will start at 11:00 am.

Q: What if I need special assistance or accommodations?

A: If you require an accommodation to fully participate in this event, please email reunion@law.berkeley.edu with as much advance notice as possible and no later than Friday, September 6 to ensure ample time for accommodation arrangements. 

Q: What is the recommended attire?

A: Business casual or semi-formal attire is recommended for those attending class dinners on Saturday. Business casual or casual attire is recommended for the All Alumni Celebration on Friday and for Saturday’s daytime events.

Q: Where can I park?

When you register for Alumni Reunion Weekend, you have the opportunity to purchase reserved parking behind the law school for $40 each day of the weekend. If you purchase parking as part of your reunion registration, we will contact you directly via email a few days before reunion weekend with details of where to go and how you’ll enter the parking lot.

Street parking in the neighborhood surrounding the law school is controlled by parking restrictions, and most spots have a 2-hour limit.  If you park in the City of Berkeley, please check for posted parking restrictions. You can find more information about visitor parking here.

Concerts will take place at the Greek Theatre on both evenings of Alumni Reunion Weekend. This will impact the number of available parking spaces near the law school, and we expect local parking spaces to fill up by 6:00 pm. The concerts will also impact traffic on the roads around the law school.

Q: What address do I use for dropoffs and pickups?

2745 Bancroft Way is a good address to use for rideshare and taxi pickups and drop-offs. This address will guide drivers to the Simon Hall door, which is located off of Steinhart Courtyard, and just up the sidewalk from East Courtyard, where our registration tables will be located.

Q: Are there special rates for hotel reservations?

Several hotels in the city of Berkeley offer rates to UC Berkeley alumni. A list of hotels in Berkeley can be found here. https://www.visitberkeley.com/where-to-stay/

Q:  I haven’t been to Berkeley in years and would like to book a restaurant. What can you recommend?

Q: Will reunion be virtual?

A: Alumni reunion weekend programs will be available in-person only. Both CLE programs and the Dean’s Town Hall will be recorded. The CLE programs will be made available on the B-CLE platform in November and the Dean’s Town Hall will be made available on the Berkeley Law YouTube channel in November.

Q: My plans have changed. Can I get a refund?

A: If you would like to cancel your registration and request a refund, please email reunion@law.berkeley.edu or call (510) 643-6043 no later than Friday, September 13. No refunds will be issued after this date. 

Q: Where can I buy Berkeley Law branded merchandise?

A: Stop by the bookstore to pick up your Berkeley Law gear! Room 286, or visit them online at www.berkeleylawshop.com. The Bookstore will be open Friday 9/20, 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM and Saturday 9/21, 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM and 5:30-7:30 PM.
