Students from our Arts & Innovation Representation project again helped the Artistic Freedom Initiative produce a report on challenges to freedom of expression that sparked major media attention (CBC Radio, NPR, and more). Ayesha Asad, Yasameen Joualee, Joanna Ong, and Alexandra Pell researched and wrote about artists’ role in Iran’s 2022 Woman, Life, Freedom movement and the attacks they endured.
